"The first update to the DPL accurately reflects the industry's supply and demand for polished diamonds in the past three months."

(Press Release) Tampa, Florida — The Diamond Price List (DPL), a platform that revolutionizes diamond pricing through its transparency, interactivity, and data-driven accuracy, has updated its prices for the first time since its launch in June this year.

The independent market reference price list for polished diamonds uses artificial intelligence, machine learning and data science algorithms to ensure transparency and objectivity.

"DPL's first update accurately reflects the industry's supply and demand for polished diamonds in the past three months," shared Tomer Gil Levi, CEO of Diamond Price List. "It provides an authoritative benchmark for polished diamond traders during the critical period before the end of the year and the most important holiday retail season."

For round diamonds, this update is characterized by an average price increase of 2.5%. Divided by size, the largest increase was 1.5-1.99 carats (5.4%), followed by 2.0-2.99 carats (4.3%) and 1.0-1.49 carats (3.2%).

For fancy shapes, the average price of this update increased by 2.1%, with 0.70-0.89 carats leading by 3.4%, followed by 0.30-0.39 carats (3.1%) and 0.50-0.69 carats (2.9%).

Generally speaking, for all sizes of circles and fancy shapes, the price increase of IJ color is the largest; the price increase of all clarity is more consistent, and the increase of SI1 is slightly higher than that of SI2-I1.

The increase in the price of DPL polished diamonds has occurred in the context of the increase in the price of rough diamonds since the beginning of 2021. The mining, manufacturing, and grading capabilities of polished diamonds are subject to some restrictions. Most importantly, during a period of strong consumption and trade demand for polished diamonds.

DPL released this update after the first exhibition held at JCK Las Vegas earlier this week was very successful. Since its launch in June, the show has been downloaded more than 20,000 times, and the company saw its greatest interest from retailers, who quickly downloaded the app and adopted a user-friendly platform. George Dejermenji, owner of Media City Jewelers in Burbank, California, shared "A tool that can make retailers more profitable and powerful, especially physical stores, will be an important asset." He continued. , "DPL is such a platform that allows customers to feel that their pricing is more transparent, thereby enhancing the awareness of retailers."

The next scheduled update of DPL prices will be released at the end of November in accordance with the quarterly schedule. At the same time, DPL welcomes feedback on current price updates and comments from the growing DPL user community on the method, timing and frequency of further updates.
