Emergencies: An 8-year-old boy was allegedly kicked off the school bus in Livingston, Montana, and left on the side of the road because he was not wearing a mask. We can now confirm that the bus driver has been on leave and is awaiting investigation.

Lynn Scalia, the director of Livingston School District, said the bus driver is now on leave and is awaiting investigation. This is the full statement she sent me on Monday morning:

What you said happened, none of us want to happen to our children. The safety and well-being of students is our top priority in Livingston School District. While investigating the matter, the driver has been on leave.
