Washing clothes in a dirty machine is a meaningless task, but ignoring the stench from the washing machine may be exactly what you are doing. Although many of us have overlooked the importance of cleaning the washing machine, the unpleasant smell is a clear sign that it is time to give it a chance. Dealing with dirty clothes is one thing, but dirty machines can be expensive and time-consuming-but with this technique, you can repair it naturally.

The smell of rotten eggs can originate from two things-the accumulation of bacteria in the residual soap, or the trapped items that cause mold or mildew growth in the rubber seal.

Bacteria, Lindt, mold, soap and mold are common sources of egg odor from washing machines.

Essential oils are a natural and calming substitute for chemical detergent and bleach products when it comes to removing the rot in the washing machine.

The best way to eliminate mold and mildew while eliminating unpleasant odors is to use antifungal, antibacterial and antimicrobial oils, such as:

Leave the machine empty, add only a spoonful of soda crystals, and run a hot wash cycle to rinse off any bacteria or dirt that may have accumulated in the drum.

After running an empty wash, mix 20 drops of essential oil with two cups of white vinegar into the dispenser tray.

Next, run another wash cycle on the hottest water setting to let the oil work, and then wipe the drum with a clean microfiber cloth.

Mix two cups of white vinegar and boiling water with 20 drops of essential oil of your choice.

Dip a clean cloth in the fragrance solution to clean the rest of the washing machine, as described below.

There is always a risk of mildew in humid places.

The rubber seal surrounding the circular window of the washing machine tends to accumulate excessive moisture through the residual water.

You will notice black, irregular spots on the seal, which may indicate mold and a necessary odor.

Wipe the seal with a clean cloth weekly to prevent mold growth.

Although the drawer contains clean and usually very fragrant detergent, if it is not cleaned regularly, it will quickly become sour.

The filter of the washing machine may emit an unpleasant smell.

Open the filter at the bottom of the front of the machine and drain the excess water into the shallow pan.

Unscrew the filter and wash it with warm soapy water to remove stickiness and odor.

After use, keeping the door of the washing machine open can play a role in ventilation and prevent mold and mildew.

Ventilating the machine can prevent it from emitting the stench of eggs in the room.
