A British woman issued a warning after she tried to use viral TikTok to cook poached eggs in a microwave oven and suffered horrific burns.

A British woman suffered severe burns on her face while trying to cook poached eggs in the microwave using viral TikTok. She publicly opposed this cooking technique and warned others not to try it.

Chantelle Conway, from Farnworth, near Manchester, England, shared her horrible burns, telling the audience that she "burned my entire face and neck" after the hacking attack when the egg accidentally exploded and burst into her face.

The TikTok video she shared on July 12 has been watched more than 120,000 times and urges people to think twice before trying the technique of quick-cooking eggs.

"Please, please, ask people to stop making your poached eggs in the microwave. I am very, very unfortunate. I can only make it heal now," the 25-year-old wrote.

In the past few months, the poached egg hack that Chantelle tried has become more and more popular because it is an "impeccable" way to get the perfect poached egg.

It involves breaking the eggs into a container with a tablespoon of vinegar and heating them in the microwave for 90 seconds.

However, Chantelle didn't know that this was the secret of a disaster.

The mother of two children explained in her viral video that the cold spoon she used to take out the eggs reacted to boiling water, causing hot liquid to be sprayed on her "face and neck."

"My face exploded. This is the worst thing I have ever experienced," she explained on social media platforms.

When the accident happened, Chantelle and her 18-month-old daughter Heidi-River Ball were at home alone. She quickly poured cold water on herself, which the doctor later said saved her from third-degree burns.

The severely burned woman then called her 34-year-old ex-partner Mark Ball, who drove her to the Royal Bolton Hospital.

The doctor applied a jelly mask to her wound and injected morphine to relieve her pain, starting the long recovery process she recorded on TikTok.

For several weeks, her face blistered and peeled, and the dead skin fell off her mother's hands.

"I'm stupid to do this, I just want more people to know what will happen, so it won't happen to anyone else," she told fans in a video.

"I have a flashback, which makes me not want to cook. I will never eat eggs again because I am so injured."

In her most recent video, her face now looks "much better."
