Call of Duty: Vanguard has finally introduced a round-based map with Season 4’s reimagining of Shi No Numa. There’s another complicated Main Quest to complete, so here’s a step-by-step guide to the Easter Egg.

After Black Ops Cold War Zombies’ success, Treyarch returned to develop Vanguard’s Zombies mode and continue the Dark Aether storyline. However, with a lack of classic features and a new non-round-based format, players slammed the mode for its “embarrasing” lack of content.

The devs added many classic features with Season 2’s Terra Maledicta, but players were still desperate to see round-based return. It finally has with Season 4’s Shi No Numa, and brought a brand-new Main Quest Easter Egg with it.

Here’s a full guide to building the new wonder weapon, completing the Main Quest Easter Egg, and beating the boss.

Like any Call of Duty: Zombies Easter Egg, players will need to complete a series of complex objectives to solve the Main Quest such as finding objects around the map and building the Wonder Weapon.

Vanguard Season 4 introduces round-based Zombies to the game, and with it, the return of the Wunderwaffe Wonder Weapon.

Vanguard Season 4 finally introduced the game’s first round-based Zombies mode. If you want to dominate Zombies with the most powerful gun possible, check out how to build the Wunderwaffe Wonder Weapon in Shi No Numa.

When Vanguard was released back in November 2021, Zombies fans were furious and disappointed at Sledgehammer and Treyarch’s take on the fan-favorite mode. Having moved away from round-based Zombies initially, content creators slammed the mode, claiming that there was an “embarrassing lack of content.”

Thankfully, that all changed with the release of Vanguard Season 4, which introduced the first round-based mode to the game on fan-favorite map Shi No Numa.

Of course, with a new map comes the ability to create a Wonder Weapon, and the Wunderwaffe is the gun of choice for Shi No Numa. If blasting Zombies to bits sounds like your kind of thing, here’s how you can build the Vanguard Wunderwaffe Wonder Weapon.

Wonder Weapons are a series of special weapons powered by Element 115. These strong weapons are perfect for killing hordes of undead enemies, but require a little work to earn.

Thankfully, it isn’t too hard to get your hands on the Wunderwaffe, with just a few steps required to craft it:

Once you have the Wunderwaffe, you can then use it to slice through waves of Zombies as you attempt to make it through rounds.

The good news is that Treyarch have already confirmed that more round-based Zombies maps are coming to Vanguard, so we should see even more Wonder Weapons in the not-too-distant future.

The CoD Vanguard devs have addressed an issue that makes killstreaks awarded by Care Packages vanish after death.

A bizarre glitch has been plaguing CoD Vanguard in recent weeks that sees killstreaks mysteriously vanish. Luckily, Sledgehammer Games have finally given indication that a fix is on the way.

Although Vanguard Season 4 has given players plenty to be excited about, including the return of the iconic Shi No Numa Zombies map, there are still a handful of frustrating issues that have been hampering the experience.

Matchmaking slowed down to the point that players were having to wait up to five minutes to find a game, and a bizarre bug even caused players to burst into flames. The latest glitch to affect Vanguard has seen killstreaks randomly disappear for seemingly no reason.

Sledgehammer Games have now shared an update on the issue which seems to reassure fans that it won’t be a problem for much longer.

For many players, the quickest and easiest way to obtain a higher-level killstreak is through a Care Package, offering a random killstreak for just four kills.

While some rewards operate themselves, the Warmachine and Deathmachine killstreaks place devastating weapons into the player’s hands to carry around the map and wreak havoc.

Both killstreaks are supposed to “persist through death until ammo is depleted.” This means they should remain equipped even if a player dies before they burn through all of the ammo.

However, in recent weeks players have reported that Warmachines and Deathmachines picked up through Care Packages have been vanishing after death, even if they had bullets remaining.

From the dev’s official Trello board, we can see that they are aware of the issue and are set to push out a patch. A card titled “Warmachine and Deathmachine from Care Packages are lost upon death” has a “fix scheduled” label attached.

There’s no indication yet as to when the fix will be rolled out to Vanguard players, but it’s safe to say that there won’t be too long to wait.
