This sounds like something from a futuristic science fiction movie, a driverless delivery truck. Well, it's true. A company based in Palo Alto, California is now operating two driverless cars for Walmart's home store in Bentonville, Arkansas.

Due to the continuing labor shortage, there are no drivers for self-driving trucks to drive these so-called vans or self-driving cars, as Gatik Company claims. These trucks are the first of their kind, using commercial routes 7 days a week, 12 hours a day, to transport goods and groceries from the Wal-Mart distribution center to retail locations on a 7.1-mile route.

Gatik has been studying this new delivery method for two years before they can safely remove the driver from the vehicle.

If you want to know what might go wrong with unmanned vehicles, the company has established safety protocols. For example, the truck does have an employee sitting in the passenger seat, followed by a chasing vehicle, and only provides good services. According to TechCrunch, weather. Recently, self-driving trucks have been expanded to Texas, Louisiana, California, and Canada.

So, how strange is it to see one of the trucks driving on the highway without a driver? Will you feel safe around these vehicles? Watch the video below to learn about the safety of these trucks.

For the record only, Ford and Argo are preparing to collaborate with Lyft to launch their own self-driving cars in Miami and Austin later this year. Sooner or later, we may start to see more and more driverless vehicles on the road.

So, next time you have a bit of road rage and you decide to get rid of the driver, there may be no crazy drivers. This is getting crazy, but this is the future. I think my only concern is that this will make many people unemployed, but this seems to be the way we are heading.
