Amarillo's McCreeb fan, can you have a new one to go?

I know that when it comes to McRib sandwiches that McDonald's serves every year, there is almost a fanatical following. I do not understand. I try to like it. I mean this is a cheap rib rice meal. I tried and tried again.

I will order one every time, just to see if my thinking has changed over the years. I will have the same reaction. I am biting on this mushy meat pie. There is no appearance of ribs anywhere. I can look at it and see that it is just processed meat. I don't understand why so many people like it.

That being said, when I scrolled on Facebook yesterday, I saw that Arby's was trying a new rib sandwich. I mean this picture actually looks like rib meat. So I have some hope for this. So I think so, that will be my lunch yesterday.

Now I don’t have much hope, because I did book a backup plan for me. I got a roast beef sandwich because one would not go to Arby's and would not get some roast beef. I mean it is true.

However, I will at least try the rib sandwich. According to their website, here is the description of the sandwich:

A real country style rib sandwich. In our East Texas smokehouse, smoked with hickory wood, low and slow, over 8 hours. Drizzle with melted Gouda cheese, crispy onions and smoked barbecue sauce.

I mean it sounds good. The photos I took are really unfair. They never really did it.

To my surprise, the meat actually does look like ribs. It looks like they cut it off the bone. I'm not saying they did it, but hey, this gives me hope. I tried the rib sandwich, you know it's really good.

If I want to eat a rib sandwich, I might go to Tyler's BBQ first. If my plan is to go to Arby's with my family or friends, and I really want some ribs, I won't regret ordering it again.

I will definitely go to this through McRib at any time. Yes, I said.
