After months of anticipation, Amazon Prime Day is finally here!
hile the mega sale is the perfect opportunity to tick off those big ticket items like a TV, a Fire tablet or washing machine on your shopping list, it’s a golden opportunity to pick up those boring but oh-so essential bits and pieces necessary to running a home.
You know the stuff: loo roll, bin bags, cleaning supplies, mouthwash. They may not be the most pulse-quickening of purchases, but saving precious pounds on the things you need can be a thrill all on its own, not to mention leave you with more to spend on what your heart desires.
Plus, getting them in bulk means you won’t have to restock for absolutely ages, or you can split the deal with friends and family, giving everyone a chance to benefit from the bargain bonanza that is the Prime Day sales.
In fact, last year, a deal on Finish dishwasher tablets proved so popular it was one of the best-selling products over the entire Prime Day sale. The deal saw the price plummet from £26 to £10.50 for a bag containing 110 powerball tablets - that’s a whopping 60 per cent off.
