5 things (actually 10!) Never run on Thanksgiving

We know one of them from experience, and our Thanksgiving preparations almost stopped a few years ago.

What could be the worst thing about disposal?

In this case, we will say sweet potato skin or skin. When peeling potato shreds, you usually use that kind of double-edged peeler, just like peeling a piece of wood, the skin will fall off immediately.

But don't put them in the trash can, not even once. The skin or skin of potatoes is so fibrous or hard that it will not dissolve like most foods.

What happens if you use the outer skin to dispose of the garbage?

It blocked the outlet pipe leading to the drain and eventually caused a mess in the sink. Even if you unplug the devices and scoop them out, there is still some in the drain.

What can you do to solve the problem?

After unplugging the treatment device, dig out as much skin as possible. If you can disconnect the pipe under the sink at the disposal site and dig out the residue. If this is not an option, mix the vinegar and baking soda in a measuring cup. Pour into the sink...wait for it to foam and foam, then run the device (re-insert). This mixture can sometimes magically help clean up the device.

In no particular order, here are the rest of the parts you shouldn't run.

Most plumbing unions tell you that garbage disposers are used for light food grinding, and these things are easy to decompose. Be careful of what you run there, and stay away from potato skins or fibrous vegetables. They will say, "Turn off the Lions football game, they are terrible!"
